Sony 很仁慈地在 E3 上宣佈，他們將不會對 PlayStation 4 的二手遊戲交易設任何限制。換言之，日後你在玩完該款遊戲或是需要資金的時候，可以隨時無後顧之憂地將遊戲賣到二手市場，而尋找便宜二手遊戲的玩家亦不用擔心買下它們之後會有什麼額外解鎖費要負擔。同時，Sony 沒有像 Microsoft Xbox One 那樣設下 24 小時上線「打卡」一次的限制，所以即使完全沒有網絡都可以安心地玩遊戲了。就二手遊戲交易方法方面，Sony 很貼心地拍了一段影片教導大家最有效率的方法是怎樣的，就在繼續閱讀裡。
