「氣象頻道」(Weather Channel)知名氣象播報員洛克(Al Roker)，6日錯過在上午6時主持「與洛克起床」(Wake Up With Al)的節目。他「創下」其39年職業生涯首次睡過頭紀錄，一向早起慣的洛克，因手機鬧鈴未正常啟動，而睡過頭。
據新浪網報導，58歲的洛克雖然錯過「與洛克起床」，但仍趕上之後在國家廣播公司(NBC)的「今日秀」(Today)晨間節目。他表示，前一晚與兒子很晚才入睡，而平日也從未使用備用鬧鈴。
洛克眼見來不及至攝影棚後，上午5時41分在「推特」上說：「經過39年，這種事終於發生了，我睡過頭並錯失主持氣象頻道的節目。」
今日秀共同主持人勞爾(Matt Lauer)，隨即逮住難得的機會，在推特上以「李伯大夢」(Rip Van Winkle)調侃他是「洛克大夢」(Rip Van Roker)。
無獨有偶，晨間新聞節目「早安，喬」(Morning Joe)主持人傑斯特(Michael Geist)，5日也曾因睡過頭，而錯過節目的開場時段。
