護理師吳淑娟29日與家人前往九華山途中，看到前方有遊覽車翻覆意外，立刻下車幫忙救人。1名心臟病發且頭部受重創的鄭姓老翁一度失去生命跡象，幸得吳淑娟一路施做CPR到達醫院急救才挽回性命。

據報導，新竹長青學苑歌唱班81名學員前往九華山朝聖的途中，發生翻覆意外，25人輕重傷，其中1名82歲的鄭姓老翁車禍發生後，原坐在路旁休息，卻因心臟病突發跌落山谷，獲救時已失去生命跡象。

所幸後方遊覽車上1名台中醫院加護病房護理師吳淑娟見狀後立刻下車協助，跟著上救護車持續幫老翁CPR，並以專業術語與醫院溝通老翁情形，經搶救後老翁已恢復心跳，目前仍在加護病房觀察中。

老翁由醫院接手急救後，吳淑娟才想起丈夫和小孩還在意外現場，趕緊借手機報平安。她指出，擔任護理師工作已9年，救人是自己的本能，「可以幫忙救人超開心、十分欣慰」。
