近日，有遊客陸續在阿里山國家森林遊樂區塔山步道、對高岳步道及祝山林道等多處地點，發現帝雉、藍腹鷴、水鹿、臺灣獼猴及山羌等保育類動物，林務局嘉義林區管理處調查發現，其中帝雉更有在園區育雛的情形，處長廖一光呼籲，遊客在遇到這些野生動物時，請保持適當的距離，建議遊客遠距離觀賞，並避免碰觸及驚嚇到野生動物，以減少野生動物受到驚嚇進而影響其棲息生存空間。（簡志偉／嘉義報導）
