澳男亂棒打死中國留學生　被判坐牢20年

【國際中心／綜合外電報導】澳州坎培拉一名22歲男子施密特（Taylor Schmidt），涉嫌夥同另名18歲男子，當街將中國籍留學生趙亮殘忍地毆打致死，然後偷走了他身上手機及僅有的現金21澳元（約564元台幣）。施密特於當地時間周一，在區高等法院內被判處入獄20年6個月，其中14年不得申請假釋。其18歲同夥此前已被判處17年有期徒刑。

《澳州日報》報導，2011年8月某日凌晨，施密特與同夥手持大刀及棒球棍，計劃搶劫。兩人在街上遇到趙亮，施密特用棒球棍擊打其頭部，然後又用刀斬向他的手腕。兩人接著兇殘地將趙亮活活打死，其頭部傷勢慘不忍睹，腦漿都暴露出來。

施密特在上月的庭審中，曾寫了一張紙條向趙亮的家屬道歉，並承認自己應該被判處較長的刑期。他說，這件事情只能怪自己，他應該早點遠離毒品。
