下周就是農曆過年，目前在台中監獄服刑的前總統陳水扁，今天有位神密訪客，他就是過去曾與扁在民進黨內，有過「長扁之爭」的謝長廷。
 
這是扁移監台中監獄後，謝長廷首度探監，上午9時他在立委管碧玲的陪同下，進入台中監獄探扁，已經許久未見扁的謝長廷說：「快過年了，基於人情來看老朋友，不談政治，這種情況還和他政治太不人道。」隨即進入探扁。
 
探視過後，謝長廷在離去時表示，扁說自己腦部有問題，影響手和其他方面，甚至尿失禁。謝長廷感嘆說：「蠻殘酷的，做過一個總統，現在變成這樣，聽他講話是蠻傷心的，希望從人道的立場去考慮（是否繼續關扁）。」（許淑惠／台中報導）
